Barao out of UFC 177 Main Event

Renan Barao is out of his rematch with T.J. Dillashaw for the UFC Bantamweight World Championship. The bout was schedule for tomorrow evening. Barao was forced to withdraw due to complications during his weight cut according to ESPN Sportscenter. Barao reportedly had issues cutting down from an estimated 182 lbs in his first fight with Dillashaw. During that match up Dillashaw was noticeably faster than the Brazilian, who was never in the fight. UFC 177 Main Card: TalkingBrawls Staff Picks

What a difference 10 fight picks can make in our overall standings. Last weekend the Ultimate Fighting Championship presented two fight nights, one in Macao, China & the other being in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Keith Fitzpatrick improved his form a bit at 6-4 (Guangyou, Lipeng, Woodley, Bisping, Vick & Holloway), Niall McGrath finished the night a disappointing 4-6 (Woodley, Vick, Holloway & Mein), Ben Kiely likewise finished 4-6 (Woodley, Bisping, Holloway & Leites) & finally I finished up 4-6 (Woodley, Bisping, Vick & Holloway) myself. Typically, as a UFC fan, you have come to expect a numbered PPV offering to be headlined by a world title fight. UFC 177 is no different in that it’s main event features Bantamweight champion T.J Dillashaw defending his title for the first time against the foe, who he won the belt from in Renan Barao.
