Last week, the Zuffa brass treated us to two cards. TUF Nations in Quebec City, Quebec & UFC on Fox 11 in Orlando, Florida. Between them we got nine fights (three & six respectively) that affected the ranking landscape of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. UFN 37 – What’s on the line?

This weekend the UFC returns to the UK as part of its International tour that will also include Germany & Ireland in the coming months. Globally this offering is being broadcasted exclusively on UFC Fight Pass, while locally it airs on BT Sport & Channel 5. Today’s MMA – Sport, Entertainment or a mixture of both?

After I first watched the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2001, Mixed Martial Arts soon became my favourite sport. MMA had just gotten sanctioned in Nevada. Zuffa & the International Fighting Championships had worked to gain acceptance in various states by introducing more rules to ensure fighter safety.
