Cole Miller Out of UFC Dublin Main Event, Diego Brandao Steps In

Conor McGregor’s opponent for the main event of UFC Fight Night Dublin, Cole Miller, has withdrawn from their July 19th fight in Dublin’s O2 Arena. The 30-year old American pulled out of the fight after suffering torn ligaments in his thumb, and was unexpectedly absent from today’s media conference call featuring McGregor. Fear not though, as 27-year old Brazilian Diego Brandao (18-9, 4-2 UFC) has answered the call and will step in to replace Miller and ensure that McGregor still has his main event opponent. UFC Announces Changes to Fight Night Bonuses

The UFC has tonight released a statement detailing a slight re-structuring to their current Fight Night fighter bonuses. The statement, on, said: The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced today a modification to its live event bonuses. Effective immediately, UFC will award “Fight of the Night Bonuses” to each of the fighters in the best fight of the night, as well as additional “Performance of the Night Bonuses” to the two best individual performances on the card.
