Featherweight Title Bout: Tom DuQuesnoy (145lbs) vs. Brendan Loughnane (144.8lbs)
Neither man looks timid on the feet starting out. Both men connecting & both having their moments as the aggressor. Loughnane rocks a Duquesne a couple of times. The French man looking like he may want the takedown now. However, he landed some nice leg kicks at the closing of the round.
Second round, DuQuesnoy hits a duck under takedown. Loughnane scrambles to the feet however. Loughnane using his range well on the feet. DuQuesnoy lands a hard left hand on Loughnane, but he recovers well. Nice body kick from DuQuesnoy. Nice outside leg kick from DuQuesnoy. Both men are trading at the end of that round.
Third round, both men meet in the middle. Very close fight. Loughnane picking up the urgency in this round. Loughnane definitely landed more in the third round. I have it 29-28 for the Mancunian.
Winner: 29-28, 28-29 & 29-28 by split decision & still Champion Tom DuQuesnoy.
Middleweight Bout: Chris Fields (185.6lbs) vs. Christopher Jacquelin (183lbs)
Jacquelin the pressing the stand up. Chris Fields clinches & takes the fight to the ground. Fields postures up & allows his opponent to get to the feet. However, Jacquelin is met with a right hand on the way up. Chris goes for another takedown, but Jacquelin takes his back. Fields escapes & goes for a Kimura in the scramble. He torques it switches to a straight armbar which Jacquelin manages to escape. Good round for the Dubliner.
Round 2 sees Chris Fields aggressively pursue the clinch. After a struggle, he gets him down. Chris now working from inside full guard. Jacquelin plays open guard while Fields postures up to strike. Fields lands some nice elbows in the forehead of Jacquelin. Out of nowhere, Jacquelin secures a triangle choke & forces Fields to tap out with less than ten seconds to go.
Winner: Christopher Jacquelin by Submission at 4.50 in Round 2.
Catchweight Bout: Alan Philpott (138.8lbs) vs. Regis Sugden (134.6lbs)
Both men exchanging early on the feet here. Mainly a feeling out phase. Philpott beating Sugden to the punch more, but Sugden landing more leg kicks in Round one.
In the second round, Philpott tries walk down Sugden. Sugden tries to circle out, but gets knocked down by Philpott. Sugden quickly recovers, gets back to his feet & knocks Philpott down. Sugden follows him to the mat & a game of footsies ensues. Both men scramble to the feet. Philpott gets a takedown of his own, but both men scramble back to the feet. The fight resorts back to a striking affair for a few minutes, back & forth. Philpott scores another takedown, but Sugden gets back to his feet before the bell.
Round 3 kicks off with both men circling on the feet. Philpott is the aggressor. Good boxing from Sugden, landing cleaner. Philpott gets a takedown, landing in Sugden full guard. Philpott passes to side control briefly before Sugden scrambles back to the feet. Good body shot from Philpott before the end of the round.
Winner: Alan Philpott by split decision.
Women’s Catchweight Bout: Catherine Costigan (108.8lbs) vs. Celine Haga (114.8lbs)
Costigan hurries to the centre of the cage. She tries to strike with Haga. Haga clinches with her & secures a body lock takedown. She advances to side control. Costigan scrambles with a whizzer & reverses Haga. Haga quickly attacks with a triangle choke. Costigan defends, but Haga transitions to an armbar. Costigan tries to fight it, but Haga adjusts & gets the submission finish.
Winner: Celine Haga by Submission at 4.46 in Round 1
Lightweight Bout: Jack Grant (154.4lbs) vs. Jack McGann (155.8lbs)
McGann knocks down Grant early with a stuff right hand & follows him down to the mat, but Grant recovers & tries to defend from his back . Both men scramble back to the feet. Immediately, McGann blitzes Grant with punches once again. Grant looked out on the feet & hit the canvas hard. McGann followed him down again & finished the fight by TKO.
Winner: Jack McGann via TKO in Round 1
Middleweight Bout: Conor Cooke (185.8lbs) vs. Paul Byrne (184.4lbs)
Both men choose to standv early on. Both exchange leg kicks. Paul Byrne switches it up with a head kick that makes his opponent wobble. Byrne follows him to the ground with punches for the TKO finish.
Winner: Paul Byrne via TKO in Round 1.
Lightweight Championship Bout: Marc Diakiese (153.2lbs) vs. Rick Selvarajah (154lbs)
Both men exchange strikes on the feet from the get go, but Diakiese disguises his power hand well with a series of step in jabs, only to unload with an explosive overhand right knocking out Selvarajah before he hit the deck. Diakiese followed up with several unanswered punches before Marc Goddard stopped the fight.
Winner: Marc Diakiese wins by KO at 0.24 in Round 1.
Lightweight Bout: Kane Mousah (155.8lbs) vs. Myles Price (154.8lbs)
Both men exchanged briefly on the feet. Then Price got a takedown, only for Mousah to scramble back to his feet. From here, Price started to back up his opponent, but out of nowhere Mousah knocked him down to the mat with a punch. Mousah worked from half guard with good shots to the body. He then transitioned to the back. However, Price did well by reversing his foe & taking his back. He failed to get the choke however & Mousah spun around back into his guard before the closing bell.
In the second, more action on the feet with both men landin, but Price pressing the action. Mousah then countered with a single leg takedown that was successful, but Price wall walked back to his feet. Mousah then secured another takedown. Price got back up again, only to be taken down again. This time though, Price attacked immediately with a triangle choke attempt, but Mousah escaped. Both men scrambled until the bell sounded.
Round 3 saw more stand up exchanges initially. However, Mousah once again started to pursue the takedown. Again also, Price countered with a triangle attempt. Mousah defended well. Price eventually got back to his feet. Mousah tried to work for more takedowns, but Price kept defending the takedown with elbows to the temple before the end of the fight.
Winner: Kane Mousah by Unanimous decision 29-28.
Women’s Catchweight Bout: Sinead Kavanagh (136.8lbs) vs. Hatice Ozyurt (136.4lbs)
From the get go this was all Sinead Kavanagh. She floored her opponent in no time & followed her down to the canvas with punches & hammer fists to win by TKO.
Winner: Sinead Kavanagh by TKO at 0.17 in Round 1.
Bantamweight Bout: Frans Mlambo (134.8lbs) vs. Darren O’Gorman (135.2lbs)
Touch of gloves & then the leg kicks begin. Some heavy leather being exchanged, but Mlambo clinches. O’Gorman turns him into the fence, tries to convert a double leg. Mlambo defends well & gets out of the clinch. Mlambo then opens up on O’Gorman & floors him with a right hand. Mlambo hesitates initially appears surprised that O’Gorman is not knocked out & the referee has not stepped in. Mlambo then pounced on his opponent finishing him with unanswered punches.
Winner: Frans Mlambo at 2.45 in first round by TKO.
Heavyweight Bout: Jonathan Dargan (236.2lbs) vs. Lukasz Parobiec (236.2lbs)
Parodies really landing heavy strikes on the Irish man. Both men standing in the pocket, but Parobiec overwhelms his opponent, dropping him & finishing him by TKO.
Winner: Lukasz Parobiec by TKO at 2:28 in first round.
Welterweight Bout: John Redmond (170.2lbs) vs. Rhys McKee (168.8lbs)
Redmond got rocked early by McKee, but it seem to wake up the Team Ryano standout. He then came back with stiff shots of his own. Both men continued to exchange on the feet. McKee finding a home with the left hook to the head. Redmond looking stunned. Redmond then resorted to a clinch fight & took McKee down. However, McKee soon reversed Redmond & took his back by rear naked choke in the first. Very impressive.
Winner: Rhys McKee at 4:36 by Submission in Round 1
Bantamweight Bout: Adam Caffrey (135.6 lbs) vs. Dylan Tuke (135 lbs)
Brief exchange on the feet. Tuke took Caffrey down & quickly took his back. He went straight for a rear naked choke. When standard grip would not work for him, he switched to a Gable grip. This was well defended by Caffrey. Tuke went back to the standard grip & secured a first round finish in his debut.
Winner: Dylan Tuke via Rear Naked Choke at 3.27 in Round 1.
Light Heavyweight Bout: Karl Moore (204.8lbs) vs. Paul Craig (204.8lbs)
Both men looking to test the waters on the feet at the beginning. Craig then got a clinch takedown, but followed up with an illegal knee to a downed opponent. Referee stopped the action briefly warn Craig.
Both fighters exchanged on the feet with Craig landing some stiff kicks, but leaving his chin high up in the air. Moore then got a takedown & soon took Craig’s back. He went after the choked & really squeezed with a Gable grip. Craig wriggle out & nearly reversed Moore, but Moore in the scramble got full mount before te bell.
Round 2 got started with a clinch battle. Moore took Craig down, but in the transition, got caught in a very tight guillotine choke, forcing him to tap out.
Winner: Paul Craig by submission at 0.43 of Round 2.
Lightweight Bout: Tim Wilde (156lbs) vs. Steve Coll (155.4lbs)
Stand up exchange to kick things off. Wilde certainly not afraid to live up to his name, with some flashy techniques. Coll a bit more measured with his strikes. Coll getting a busted nose early on. Coll dropped to his back a few times. Wilde successful in out striking y his opponent in the opening round. Almost McGregor esque.
Round 2 opened with more of the same with Wilde landing a variety of stiff & unorthodox strikes, dropping his foe at times, who looked desperate for a takedown, but unsuccessful. Wilde making his attack & defence look easy at the moment.
Coll later trying a spinning back kick of his own, but nobody was home. Comfortable round for Wilde.
Third round saw Wilde open with various kicking techniques. Landing a head kick & following with a leg kicks that swept Coll off his feet. Wilde was happy to resume the combat on the feet.
Wilde found his target at will, peppering Coll with a varied attack. Coll tried force through with punches of his own to no avail. There was an unintentional eye poke by Coll which forced referee Marc Goddard to a bring brief halt to the action. Soon the fight resumed. Wilde continued his onslaught while Coll failed to bring the fight to the ground until the final bell sounded.
Winner: Tim Wilde by Unanimous decision 30-27, 30-27 & 30-25
Bantamweight Bout: Sean Tobin (135.6lbs) vs. Mark Andrews (136lbs)
Both men feeling each other out on the feet early. Tobin preferring leg kicks, while Andrews favouring to box. Eventually, Tobin went for a single leg takedown aggressively. Andrews did well fending it off, but Tobin showed great versatility in switching to a double leg & then carried his opponent over to his corner before planting him on the mat.
Andrews from his guard fought for a guillotine choke, but Tobin avoided it & worked some ground & pound. Andrews then scrambled to his feet, but in the process, got his back taken. Before the opening frame came to a close, Andrews shook him off only to be taken down by Tobin once again.
In round 2, Andrews tried to press the action on the feet, landing good boxing combinations on the feet. Tobin soon found an opening though & shot in on Andrews, landing in his guard. From here, he advanced to half mount & then on in to full mount, but Andrews defended well in regaining full guard.
Andrews then tried to scramble to the feet, but again got his back taken like in the first round. Again he managed to shake Tobin off. Tobin went for another takedown, but Andrews jumped guard, attempting a choke, but Tobin wisely avoided it to close the round.
Third round saw Andrews chase Tobin down on the feet & having a lot of success with punches to the head. He had Tobin rocked, who in desperation tried to get a takedown. In the end, Andrews cleverly countered with a D’arce choke in 1.36 of the third round to win by submission. Great come from behind win.

Bantamweight Bout: Patrick Wixted (135lbs) vs. Connor Dillon (135lbs)
Stand up exchange on the feet first. Dictated by the Team Ryan fighter at first. Brief clinch to exchange then followed where Witten tried for a trip, but Dillon reversed with a whizzer. More stand up followed to the delight of the crowd with Wizard gaining the upper hand.
After another clinch battle, Wixted found himself on top in Dillon’s guard. It was not long before they scrambled back to the feet before the bell sounded.
Round 2 began with Wixted landing heavy hands on the face of Dillon forcing Dillon to eventually shoot for a double leg takedown to no avail.
Then out of nowhere, Dillon rocked Wixted with a big overhand right. Dillon then took Wixted down with a flying armbar attempt. Wixted got his arm out & then foot lock battle ensued. Both men scrambled back to the feet & Wixted caught Dillon with a vicious knee to the face & followed up with punches on his downed opponent.
Winner: Patrick Wixted by TKO in Round 2.
Catchweight Bout: Gerrard Gilmore (145.6lbs) vs. Alexandre Liete (149.2lbs)
Back & forth first round with a lot of grappling exchanges on first round. Similar pattern in second round with Liete nailing a nice triangle choke late in the round.
Winner: Alexandre Liete via Triangle Choke in Round 2
Flyweight Bout: Arnaud Dos Santos (124.8lbs) vs. Keith Coady (124.4lbs)
Very quick fight. Both men engaged in a clinch right off the bat. Coady took Dos Santos down & landed punches unanswered to earn a first round TKO stoppage.
Winner: Keith Coady by TKO in Round 1 0.13.
